Starter knowledge
• GoldHEN is the homebrew enabler most people use. It is loaded by an exploit, and on most setups it needs loading again after each full reboot.
• Exploits are tied to firmware versions, and the list changes. Old videos are often wrong. Check the latest pinned news or ask before updating.
• If you want homebrew, do not update your console until you have checked. There is no official way to go back.
• Many people keep a hacked console offline, or block updates, to avoid accidental updates and account problems.
• Exploits can fail and need a few attempts. That is normal; a crash is usually harmless, but back up your saves first anyway.
• Only use payloads and tools from their original developers. Repacked files from random sites are a common source of trouble.
What is not allowed
• No links to or requests for PKGs of paid games, game dumps, firmware files from unofficial sources, keys or where to find them. Dump your own games.
• No hacking of other people's consoles or accounts, no tools for cheating in online games and no malware.
• No selling jailbroken consoles or paid jailbreak services.
How to ask
Include your model, exact firmware, the exploit and GoldHEN version you are using, how you are loading it, what happens and any error text.
