SWITCH 2 JAILBREAK (22 OCTOBER)
Kotaku reports the first Switch 2 jailbreak that needs no hardware mod. It starts from a backwards-compatible Switch 1 game and lets people mod games, install homebrew and back up saves. It's tethered (you have to redo it after every boot) and there's no custom firmware yet. The developer says AI coding tools helped build it in about two weeks. The demo added Hatsune Miku and Peter Griffin to Mario Kart World, which is amazing.
