Hey guys! The original Switch is still going strong.
SALES
The Switch had sold 156.59 million consoles by 30 June 2026, and Nintendo expects about 2 million more this year. The PS2 is generally quoted at around 160 million, so it's getting very close.
FIRMWARE
23.0.1 is still the latest. It fixed the slow start, pause and close times that 23.0.0 introduced.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
• Will the Switch officially pass the PS2?
• How much longer will Nintendo keep releasing games for the original Switch?
• Still using an original Switch or OLED? Upgrading to Switch 2, or happy as you are?
