Current-generation talk belongs in PS5, and streaming to a handheld or PC belongs in PlayStation Portal & Remote Play. Older consoles live in PS3, PS1 & PS2, PS Vita & PS TV and PSP.
The models at a glance
• Original PS4 (CUH-1000 series and later revisions): the first design, often the loudest.
• PS4 Slim (CUH-2000 series): smaller, quieter and more efficient.
• PS4 Pro (CUH-7000 series): more powerful, with enhanced output for supported games.
The model number is on the label on the back or underneath.
Things worth knowing
• If you want homebrew, check the firmware version before updating anything. Which firmware can run GoldHEN changes over time, so check the latest pinned news in Jailbreak & homebrew.
• Back up your saves before modding, upgrading storage or initialising the console.
• Ageing PS4s often get loud because of dust and dried-out thermal paste. A careful clean can make a big difference.
The rules that matter most here
KZE is homebrew-friendly but never piracy-friendly. No links to or requests for PKGs of paid games, game dumps, firmware files from unofficial sources, keys, cracked or paid content or where to find any of it. Dump your own games and keep your own backups. Only discuss hacking your own console, legally and ethically. No cheating tools for online play, no account selling and no malware. No selling or paid services.
