Worth knowing
• Developer Mode lets you run your own apps on a retail console, which is how many people run emulators on Series consoles. It is an official programme with its own terms, so read them first, and expect retail games and some features to be unavailable while you are in Developer Mode.
• The Series X and Series S differ in power, storage and disc drive options. Mention which one you own when asking a question.
• Variable refresh rate, 120Hz and HDR depend on your display and cable as much as the console. If something looks wrong, check the TV settings too.
• Backwards compatibility covers many older games, but not all of them. Check before you buy.
Good posting habits
• Mark spoilers in the title or at the top of your post
• Keep platform debates friendly
• Search before posting news
The rules
KZE is homebrew-friendly but never piracy-friendly. Do not link, share or request games, firmware, keys or exploits used for piracy, and do not ask where to find them. Do not share or sell Game Pass codes, accounts or gift card deals. No malware, no selling and no paid services.
The house rules apply as always: be kind, English only (other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Use Report if you see something that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so start a new thread in this subforum to join in.
