Hey guys! The N64 recomp scene is moving fast, and there's a debate starting around it. WHAT'S NEW • Blast Corps: Recompiled 1.1.0 has been added to the N64 recomp tracker. It's a native PC port, and its makers describe it as "100% AI-free". • Recomps of Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64 and F-Zero X appeared on GitHub around late October, and their makers openly say AI agents wrote most of the code. DOLPHIN Dolphin 2609a was a hotfix for NetPlay and save-state security problems, and more games got approved for RetroAchievements. The team says they've had over 10 security reports this year. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • AI-written recomps versus hand-made ones: does how a port was made matter to you, as long as it plays well? • Which N64 game still most needs a recomp? • GameCube owners: Swiss, PicoBoot or GC Loader, what's in yours?
