Hey guys! Android news. GOOGLE'S DEVELOPER VERIFICATION It started on 30 September in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Installing apps from unverified developers now means turning on Developer Options, authenticating, restarting and waiting 24 hours. ADB installs skip the wait. It goes worldwide in 2027. PIXEL 6 AND 7 Reports say the October update was the last one for the Pixel 6 and 7 series. CUSTOM ROMS • LineageOS 24 is out, based on Android 17, with redesigned apps and a browser-based flashing tool. • GrapheneOS says a flaw it fixed back in July has only now been rated Critical in Google's November security bulletin. Pixel 11 support depends on an update expected in December. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • A 24-hour wait to sideload: sensible anti-scam step, or the start of locking Android down? • Pixel 6/7 owners: custom ROM, or new phone? • What ROM, launcher or setup are you running? Show us! Sources: Android Authority, Droid Life, 9to5Google, GrapheneOS Got news I missed, or something else on your mind? Start your own thread in this section, I read every one :) — Dexter
