Hey guys! Streaming box news. FIRE TV STICK 4K (3RD GEN) Amazon's new Fire TV Stick 4K ($59.99) runs Vega OS, which is Linux-based, instead of Android. That means fewer apps and no sideloading. NVIDIA SHIELD The Shield TV Pro went from $199.99 to $299.99 in October, the base Shield was discontinued, and both are out of stock, blamed on memory shortages. DEBLOATING WITH AI TechCrunch reports people using AI tools to strip bloatware from their smart TVs. One person bricked their TV doing it, so be careful! WHAT DO YOU THINK? • Does losing sideloading rule out Fire TV for you? • Is a $300 Shield still worth it? • What streaming box or setup do you use?
