Welcome to Launchers & customisation.
One of the best things about Android is how much you can change it. This subforum is for home screens, launchers, icon packs, widgets, wallpapers, lock screens, fonts and themes. Share your setup, ask how someone built theirs, or show off a widget you made.
What belongs here
• Home screen setups and screenshots.
• Launchers such as Nova, Lawnchair, Niagara, Smart Launcher or your manufacturer's own.
• Icon packs, widget tools like KWGT, wallpapers and themes.
• Material You colours, gestures and accessibility tweaks.
What goes elsewhere
• Theming that needs root or a custom ROM: Custom ROMs & root.
• A launcher or widget that keeps crashing: Help & troubleshooting.
• TV launchers and home screens on streaming boxes: Android TV & streaming boxes.
• General phone chat: General discussion.
Sharing a setup
It helps to list what you used: the launcher, icon pack, widgets and wallpaper, and anything special you changed. People love being able to recreate a look.
• Credit artists and creators for wallpapers and icon packs where you can.
• Check your screenshots before posting: notifications, messages, email addresses, location widgets and calendar entries can give away more than you meant to.
A few tips
• Many launchers let you back up your layout. Do it before trying a new one so you can always go back.
• Some phones reset your default launcher after a system update, so check the default apps setting if your home screen suddenly changes.
• Heavy live wallpapers and lots of constantly updating widgets can cost battery life.
Rules
• No pirated paid launchers, icon packs or premium unlocks, and no links to where to find them. If a creator charges for their work, support them or pick a free alternative.
• Your own creations are welcome to share, but no selling or commission requests.
The general KZE rules apply: be kind, English only (posts in other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Use Report if something breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so start your own thread to share or ask.
