Hey guys! An article this week argued 2026 might be the best year to own a Vita, and honestly they've got a point.
HOMEBREW WORTH TRYING
• ReST-V: a Sega ST-V arcade emulator running near 60fps
• ReSys12: Namco System 12 emulation, including Tekken 3
• Vitaki: PS5 Remote Play on your Vita
• GreenVita: Xbox Cloud Gaming on the Vita
• Private servers bringing Wipeout 2048 online play back
On top of that, there's been a wave of native ports this year (Jade Empire, Silent Hill and more). Remember, ports need your own game files.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
• Which homebrew app do you use most on your Vita?
• AI-assisted decompilation is behind a lot of the new ports. Good for the scene, or a legal risk?
• Post your Vita home screen, let's see your setups!
