What belongs here
• Homebrew games and apps, old classics and new releases.
• Emulators for older systems that run on the PSP.
• Plugins such as cheat tools, CPU speed controls, screenshot tools and game categories.
• Custom themes and XMB tweaks.
• Your own projects: releases, betas, progress updates and requests for testers.
• Development questions about the PSP SDK and tooling.
What goes elsewhere
• Installing or fixing custom firmware: Custom firmware.
• Something crashing or refusing to load: Help & troubleshooting, unless it is a bug report on a release thread here.
• Hardware projects: Hardware mods & repairs.
• PSP Tube support, bug reports and ideas go in the PSP Tube forums under KZE apps & projects.
Sharing a release
If you post homebrew, please include:
• What it does, with a screenshot or two.
• Which models and custom firmware you have tested it on.
• How to install it, step by step.
• A changelog for updates, and the licence if it is open source.
• Credit to anyone whose code, art or libraries you used.
Only post homebrew you made or have permission to share, and always point to the original author's release rather than re-uploading their work.
Starter knowledge
• Homebrew apps usually live in PSP/GAME on the memory card, each in its own folder with an EBOOT.PBP.
• Plugins are enabled through the plugin settings of your custom firmware or a text file in the SEPLUGINS folder. Turn plugins on one at a time so you can tell which one causes a problem.
• Old homebrew built for very early firmware may not run on custom firmware today. If it does not start, ask before assuming it is broken.
What is not allowed
No ISOs, ROMs, BIOS files, cracked apps or links to where to find them. Emulator threads are welcome, but bring your own dumps. No malware, no hidden code and nothing that harms other people's devices.
House rules
Be kind, keep it in English (other languages are translated automatically), and no spam, keyboard mashing or self-promotion spam. Posting your own homebrew is welcome, but do it once in a proper thread rather than in everyone else's. Report anything that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so start a new thread to share or ask.
