Hey guys! Some nice updates for classic PlayStation this week. DUCKSTATION A big update landed on 25 October: recompiler fixes, faster sound handling and reverb, faster video decoding, and the faster software renderer is now on for most PCs. A preview build on 1 November adds accuracy fixes for PGXP (the setting that stops PS1 polygons wobbling). PCSX2 Development builds keep coming, the newest on 31 October. The stable version is still 2.8 from August. REAL HARDWARE No new OPL, PicoStation or MechaPwn releases this week. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • PCSX2 nightlies or stable, which do you use? • Is a soft-modded PS2 with OPL still the best way to play PS2 games, or has emulation won? • What's a PS1 or PS2 game you still go back to every year?
