Hey makers! Good news for DIY handheld builders. DEKI ENGINE (25 OCTOBER) An open-source 2D game engine with a Unity-style editor for Windows and Linux. It targets ESP32 handhelds like the LilyGO T-Deck Plus and T-Display S3, and is reported to hit 60fps on the ESP32-S3. ALSO The FREE-WILi 2 packs two RP2350 chips and an FPGA into a handheld. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • Would a Unity-style editor get you making games for your handheld? • ESP32 or RP2350 for a DIY handheld? • Show us your builds, finished or half-done!
