No spoofing or botting
GPS spoofing, location faking apps, auto-catchers that break the rules, bots, modified clients and account sharing all break the game's terms and can get accounts banned. We do not allow discussion of how to do any of them, and we do not allow selling accounts or services such as raid carries for money.
Friend codes
Sharing your trainer code is fine in a friend code thread. Do not share your account login, email or the area you live in. Gifts show where a stop is, so think about who you add.
Playing safely
• Stay aware of your surroundings, especially near roads.
• Never trespass or play while driving or cycling.
• Do not post your exact location, local raid group times with your home area or photos that show where you live.
• Never meet strangers from the internet. Younger players should play with family or friends they know.
Good to know
Events, bonuses and raid bosses change often. Check the in-game news and official announcements for current details rather than relying on older posts.
