Good ways to play old games legitimately
Many classics are available through official collections, console subscription services and digital stores, and original hardware and cartridges are still out there. If you emulate, use backups of games you own. We do not share or point to where to get games.

• No piracy-friendly discussion, such as which site has the best downloads.
• No selling or trading games here.
• Keep console wars friendly. Everyone's childhood was valid.
Tips for identifying a lost game
Give the rough year, the platform, the genre, the art style, and anything you remember about the cover, characters or music. The more detail, the better the odds.
