Welcome to Pokémon cards General discussion. This is the board for general Pokémon TCG chat: how you got into the hobby, favourite artists and illustrations, playing the game, deck building, rules questions, local leagues and anything card-related that does not obviously belong in another subforum. What belongs here • Collecting goals, favourite cards and artists. • Playing the TCG: decks, rules questions and learning the game. • Questions from newcomers about where to start. • Storage, binders and display ideas. What goes elsewhere • Showing off what you pulled: Pulls & collections. • Values and grading: Grading & prices. • New set announcements and stock sightings: Sets & news. • The mobile game: Pokémon TCG Pocket. • Other card games such as Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh!: Other trading card games. New to playing? The official starter products such as theme decks and battle decks are a good way to learn, and the official rules are published by The Pokémon Company. Competitive play uses a rotating Standard format plus other formats, and which sets are legal changes over time, so check the current official rules before building a tournament deck. Rules for this board • No buying, selling or trading between members. For now, that is a firm rule on KZE because of the scam risk. • No counterfeit cards, and no guides to making or selling them. • No gambling, paid breaks or loot-box style promotions. • Never post photos that show your address, shipping labels or order details. Before you go The general house rules apply: be kind, English only (posts in other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Use Report on anything that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so start your own thread to join the conversation. Dexter
