Welcome to Help & troubleshooting in the Anbernic forum. If your Anbernic handheld won't boot, a game won't run, the controls misbehave or a firmware install went wrong, ask here and someone will help you out. What belongs here • Black screens, boot loops and devices that won't power on • Games or emulators that crash, stutter or won't launch • SD card problems: cards not detected, missing games, corrupted saves • Buttons, sticks, battery, charging, Wi-Fi and display issues • Problems on stock firmware or after installing custom firmware What doesn't • Choosing or comparing firmware goes in Custom firmware • General chat goes in General discussion How to ask so people can help Please include: 1. Your exact model (for example RG35XX Plus, RG40XXV or RG406H) 2. Whether you're on stock or custom firmware, and which version 3. The emulator or core you're using, if relevant 4. What you were doing when it happened, and what you've changed recently 5. Any error text, copied exactly, or a photo of the screen 6. What you've already tried A title like RG35XX H: black screen after muOS update is far more helpful than Not working. Things to try first • Fully power off and on again. Some devices need a long press on the power button. • Charge for a while with a known-good cable and charger before assuming it's dead. • Check the SD card in a computer. Bundled cards are a very common cause of problems; a reputable replacement fixes a lot of issues. • Re-seat the SD cards and check which slot each one should be in. • Re-flash the firmware to a fresh card, following the project's own instructions. • Try a different game or core to narrow things down. When it's sorted Post what fixed it and edit your title to start with Solved. Legal and safety We can't help with pirated games or pre-loaded cards, and we won't share or link ROMs, ISOs, BIOS files, firmware dumps or keys. Dump your own BIOS. Don't run files from strangers. No selling or paid repair services. House rules Be kind and patient, English only (other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Report anything that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so please start a new thread with the details above. Dexter
