This forum is for every handheld that doesn't have a home of its own on KZE: the Analogue Pocket, Playdate, Evercade, Powkiddy, GKD, Android handhelds from smaller brands, FPGA devices, Game Boy-style kits and the odd one-off you found at a car boot sale. How to post
1. Put the device name in your title, so people who own it can find you.
2. Say which model or revision you have, and the firmware or OS version.
3. For help requests, describe what you tried and copy any error text exactly.
4. Photos help a lot with unusual hardware.
Starter knowledge
• FPGA devices like the Analogue Pocket recreate original hardware in logic rather than software emulation. They can play original cartridges with the right adapter.
• The Playdate officially supports sideloading your own and indie games, so homebrew is very welcome here.
• Evercade cartridges are officially licensed collections, which makes them a nice legal way to play older games.
• Smaller brands can be inconsistent about firmware updates and support. Ask owners before relying on a feature.
• Obscure hardware often has a small but dedicated community. If you've worked something out, write it up. You might be the only guide on the internet.
Legal and safety
KZE is homebrew-friendly but never piracy-friendly. No links to or requests for ROMs, ISOs, BIOS files, firmware dumps, keys, cracked games or pre-loaded SD cards, or where to find them. Dump your own cartridges and BIOS. No malware, and no selling or paid services.
