Sharing a design
1. Photos of the printed part, ideally on the device
2. What it fits, including the exact model or revision
3. Recommended material, layer height, infill and supports
4. Any hardware needed, such as screws, magnets or heat-set inserts
5. The licence you are releasing it under
6. Where the original came from, if it is a remix
Design licences matter
Share only files you have the right to share. Never reupload paid models or redistribute non-commercial ones against their licence. Remixes must follow the original licence and credit the designer. Avoid putting company logos or trademarks on parts you share.
Practical notes
• PLA softens in a hot car or near warm vents. PETG, ABS or ASA cope better with heat.
• Shells and battery doors need precise measurements, so post your tolerances so others can adjust.
• Make sure printed parts do not trap heat around batteries or block a console's vents, and never design a holder that squeezes or pierces a lithium cell.
Board rules
• No selling designs or prints, and no paid commissions.
• Nothing piracy-friendly and no malware.
