The rules of a good rant
• Criticise things, not people. Rant about a company, a policy, a game or a decision. Never attack another member, a developer, a journalist or anyone else personally.
• No harassment campaigns. Do not encourage people to target someone's social media, email or reviews.
• Facts are facts. If you claim something happened, make sure it did, and say where you heard it.
• Respect other views. Someone disagreeing with you is not an attack. Reply to the argument, not the person.
• Keep it readable. Swearing in moderation is tolerated, slurs and abuse are not.
• No console wars. Preferring one platform is fine; insulting people who choose another is not.
Moderation
Strong opinions are welcome. Threads that turn into personal arguments will be cleaned up or locked. If a thread is heading that way, step back and use Report rather than piling in.
Not allowed
No piracy, no doxxing, no personal details of anyone, no calls to harass and nothing illegal.
