Welcome to Switch 2 Games & reviews. This is where we talk about what we're actually playing: new releases, Switch 2 editions of older games, hidden gems on the eShop, multiplayer favourites and whether something is worth your money and time.
What belongs here
• "What are you playing?" threads and impressions of specific games.
• Your own reviews, short or long.
• Recommendations: "I loved this, what should I try next?"
• How original Switch games run on Switch 2, and whether an upgrade edition is worth it.
• Co-op, local multiplayer and online play discussion, including GameChat.
• Physical versus digital, Game-Key Cards and collecting.
What doesn't belong here
• Announcements, Directs, leaks and rumours go in News & rumours.
• Hardware, setups and accessory chat go in General discussion.
• If a game crashes, won't download or won't start, ask in Help & troubleshooting.
Writing a useful review
You don't have to be a professional. A helpful review usually covers:
• What the game is, in a sentence or two.
• How long you've played it and on what (handheld, docked, or both).
• What works and what doesn't: performance, controls, length, value.
• Who you'd recommend it to.
• A clear score or verdict if you like, but explain it.
Please write it yourself. Copying someone else's review, or pasting AI-generated text and passing it off as your own, isn't allowed.
Spoilers
Keep major story spoilers out of titles. Warn people at the top of your post, and keep big reveals to dedicated threads where people know what they're getting into.
Buying advice
Sales and prices change constantly, so we don't keep price lists here. It's fine to mention that a game is on offer, but say where and when you saw it, because it'll be out of date quickly. Selling games, codes or accounts isn't allowed on this board.
What we won't help with
No ROMs, game files, cracked copies, keys, or where to find them, and no asking how to run copied games. If you want to play your own games in other ways, that's a conversation for the right board and always starts with games you legally own.
Friend codes and online play
If you're looking for people to play with, by all means share your in-game name or friend code if you're comfortable. Never share passwords, account details or anything personal.
House rules
The KZE house rules apply here like everywhere else: be kind, English only (posts in other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. If something breaks the rules, Report it. This thread is locked, so start a new thread to tell us what you're playing.
