Where to post what
Threads go into the subforums:
• General discussion: games, setups, collections, buying advice and Vita chat.
• Hacking & firmware: HENkaku, Ensō and keeping your Vita on the right firmware.
• Homebrew & plugins: apps, ports, emulators, plugins and themes, plus your own releases.
• Mods & storage: SD2Vita and other storage adapters, batteries, screens and shell swaps.
• Help & troubleshooting: something not working or you are stuck and want a hand.
When in doubt, ask in Help & troubleshooting and a moderator will move the thread if needed.
KZE apps
Our own PS Vita projects have their own forums under KZE apps & projects. Please post questions, bug reports and ideas for them there.
The models at a glance
• PCH-1000: the original, with an OLED screen and a 3G option on some units.
• PCH-2000: the slimmer revision with an LCD screen, better battery life, built-in storage and a micro USB port.
• PlayStation TV (VTE-1000): a micro console that plays many Vita games on a television with a controller.
All three can be hacked, but steps can differ, especially on the PS TV.

The rules that matter most here
KZE is homebrew-friendly but never piracy-friendly. No links to or requests for VPKs of commercial games, ROMs, ISOs, BIOS files, licence files, encryption keys, cracked apps or where to find them, and that includes names of piracy tools whose main purpose is downloading games. Dump and back up your own cartridges and digital purchases. Only discuss hacking your own devices, and never share malware.
A few safety basics
• Do not accept system updates on a Vita you want to hack until you have checked the latest pinned guidance.
• Back up your saves before you change anything.
• Permanent hacks like Ensō modify the boot process. Follow the guide exactly and read the warnings.
