What makes a great project post
1. A clear photo or short video of the finished thing
2. What it does and why you made it
3. A parts list: the ESP32 board variant, sensors, displays and power source
4. A wiring diagram or schematic, even a tidy hand-drawn one
5. The framework you used, such as Arduino, ESP-IDF, MicroPython or ESPHome
6. The code, or where people can find it, and what licence it is under
7. What went wrong along the way. Mistakes teach more than successes.
Credit and licences
If you built on someone else's library, enclosure design or tutorial, say so and credit them by name. Share only code and files you have the right to share. Do not reupload paid or non-commercial designs, and respect the licence the original author chose.
Safety notes for builders
• Lithium cells need a proper charging and protection circuit. Never puncture them, charge on a non-flammable surface and retire any cell that swells.
• If your project switches mains, the mains side must be wired and enclosed by a qualified person. Say so in your post.
• Remember 3.3 V logic, common grounds and a power supply sized for your LEDs and motors.
Board rules
• No selling builds or kits, and no paid services.
• No malware, nothing that targets networks or devices that are not yours, and nothing piracy-friendly.
