Welcome to Off the clock.
This is KZE's lounge: a place to chat about games, technology and everything in between that does not fit anywhere else. Introduce a hobby, share what you did this weekend, ask the community a fun question, talk about food, pets, school or work in general terms, or start a would you rather thread. Think of it as the sofa in the corner of the forum.
What belongs here
• General conversation and community threads.
• Hobbies, interests and creative projects that are not tech or gaming.
• Fun questions, polls and games played in threads.
• Celebrations and milestones, shared in general terms.
What goes elsewhere
• Tech news: Tech news.
• Tech problems: Tech help desk.
• Films, shows, music and anime: Films, TV, music & anime.
• Memes and jokes: Memes & humour.
• Anything about a specific game, device or app probably has its own board, so have a look around first.
Keep it friendly
• No politics or religion arguments. People hold strong views, and those discussions rarely stay friendly.
• No NSFW content of any kind. KZE has members of all ages.
• No bullying, picking on people or piling on.
• Disagree with the idea, not the person.
Protect your privacy
It is easy to overshare in a relaxed chat. Do not post your full name, address, school, workplace, phone number, photos of yourself or anything that could identify where you live. Do not ask others for theirs either. If someone asks you to move to a private app or meet up, do not, and use Report.
If you are struggling
If you are going through something difficult, please talk to someone you trust offline, such as a family member, friend, teacher or doctor. If you are ever in danger, contact your local emergency services straight away.
Other rules
• No buying, selling or paid services.
• No gambling or loot-box promotion.
• No piracy, as everywhere on KZE.
The house rules
The general rules apply: be kind, English only (posts in other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Use Report on anything that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so pull up a chair and start your own thread.
