Welcome to Help & troubleshooting for Linux.
Stuck? Ask here. Installation problems, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth not working, a black screen after an update, sound issues, broken packages, boot problems, dual-boot trouble: post it here and someone will try to help.

How to ask so people can help
Copy this into your post and fill it in:
1. Distro and version, plus your desktop environment.
2. Kernel version (the output of uname -r).
3. Hardware: computer model, CPU, graphics card, and the Wi-Fi chip if it is a network problem.
4. What you were doing when the problem started, such as an update or a new install.
5. What you have already tried.
6. The exact error message, copied as text rather than retyped where you can.
7. Relevant log lines, for example from journalctl or dmesg.
The inxi tool, if your distro has it, gives a handy hardware summary, and its filter option hides some personal details. Always check the output yourself before posting.
Remove personal information
Before pasting output, remove usernames if you prefer, hostnames, serial numbers, MAC addresses, public IP addresses, email addresses and any passwords or keys.
Stay safe while getting help
• Do not run commands you do not understand, even from helpful strangers. Ask what a command does first, especially if it uses sudo or deletes files.
• Back up important files before repairing partitions or bootloaders.
• If someone suggests disabling security features permanently, ask why and whether there is a better fix.
When it is solved
Please post what fixed it. The next person with the same problem will thank you.
Rules
No piracy, no cracked software, no malware and no paid support services.
The general KZE rules apply: be kind, English only (posts in other languages are translated automatically), no spam, no keyboard mashing and no self-promotion spam. Use Report on anything that breaks the rules. This thread is locked, so start a new thread with your question.
