Hey guys! Retro computing news. COMMODORE The revived Commodore posted a factory update covering the C64C Slimline and the reissued TAC-2 joystick ($49.99, shipping now). HACKADAY RETROCOMPUTING CHALLENGE Entries closed on 27 October. Highlights include a retro games system on a custom RISC-V CPU with 32 games, and a restored Soviet mainframe control panel. Hackaday also did a great piece on Commodore's 1600 VICModem, which sold for under $100 in 1982. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • Is the Commodore revival real, or just nostalgia merch? • What was your first computer? • Restoring anything right now? Show us!
