Hey guys! Steam Deck news.
STEAMOS 3.9.5 IS STABLE
• Linux 7.2 and Plasma 6.7.3 in Desktop Mode
• Faster Wi-Fi reconnect after sleep
• Lower idle power use on the Deck when no audio is playing
• Hibernation support has been added, but it's disabled on the Deck for now because of a driver bug
• Fixes for the Steam Frame wireless adapter, Steam Machine updates and suspend, and Legion Go 2 crashes
DECK 2 RUMOURS
An AMD chip codenamed "Gainsborough", linked to a possible Steam Deck 2, has shown up in early benchmarks. Valve hasn't confirmed anything.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
• Would you use hibernation instead of sleep?
• Does a Deck 2 tempt you, or is the OLED Deck good for years?
• What's the best game you've played on your Deck this year?
