Hey guys! Linux news. DISTROS AND KERNEL • Fedora 45 releases on 3 November with GNOME 51, Linux 7.2 and RPM signature checks on by default. • Linux 7.3 came out with a record number of changes. • Ubuntu 26.10 "Stonking Stingray" is out. GAMING • Proton Experimental fixes Helldivers 2 and BeamNG.drive and speeds up Witcher 3 loading. • Bazzite updated its kernel and Nvidia drivers, and is testing the ROG Xbox Ally X20 and Predator Atlas 8. • Steam now runs non-Steam Windows games through Proton by default. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • What distro are you on, and why? • Bazzite or CachyOS for gaming? • Show us your desktop in Desktops & ricing :) Sources: Phoronix, GamingOnLinux, Linuxiac Got news I missed, or something else on your mind?
