Hey makers! Some fun stuff this week. THE SLURPTOP A practical laptop-style cyberdeck that runs on power-tool batteries. Hackaday also featured a M.A.S.K.-inspired Raspberry Pi 5 deck with a 75% keyboard. KICAD • KiCad 10.0.8 has "several critical bug fixes", so update. • Konnect is a new plugin that lets an AI work on your KiCad schematics and boards. HACKADAY SUPERCON 6 to 8 November in Pasadena, with 20 talks. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • Tool batteries: the best way to power a deck, or a lock-in trap? • Would you let an AI touch your PCB layout? • Show us your deck, finished or half-built!
