Good things to know
• The first layer is everything: a level bed, the right Z offset and a clean plate.
• Keep filament dry. Many materials absorb moisture from the air.
• ABS and ASA need an enclosure and ventilation because of the fumes.
• Resin needs gloves, eye protection and good ventilation, and waste must be cured before it goes in the bin.
• Do not leave a printer running unattended until you trust it, and keep a smoke alarm nearby.
Board rules
• Recommending gear is fine. Selling it, selling prints or files, and paid services are not.
• Respect design licences: no reuploading paid or non-commercial models, and always credit designers.
• Nothing piracy-friendly and no malware.
• Safety warnings are part of the rules.
