How to ask so people can help
1. Model: original disc or Digital, slim or Pro.
2. System software version.
3. What happens, including the exact error code and message.
4. When it started and whether anything changed, such as an update, a new drive or a move.
5. What you have already tried.
A clear title helps: "PS5 Slim error when installing to M.2 drive" will get better answers than "PS5 problem".
Quick things to try first
• Do a full shutdown rather than rest mode, then unplug for a minute before starting again.
• Try a different HDMI cable or port, and a different power socket.
• Safe mode offers options such as rebuilding the database. Some options erase data, so read each one carefully before choosing it.
• For network problems, test with a wired connection if you can.
• Check the official status page for PlayStation Network outages before assuming it is your console.
