Hey guys! Retroid news. POCKET DUO IS SHIPPING The Duo started shipping on 21 October. If yours has arrived, let us know how it is! DUO LITE PLUS It puts the Duo's chip (Dragonwing Q-7790) and 8GB/128GB into the cheaper Lite body, which keeps the 60Hz LCD screens and digital triggers. $219, shipping from mid-November. LINUX SUPPORT Retroid released Linux kernel 7.3 support for the Pocket 6, Pocket Nova and Pocket Duo. It's aimed at custom-firmware developers rather than everyday users, but it could mean ROCKNIX-style firmware later on. WHAT DO YOU THINK? • Duo Lite Plus at $219, or the full Duo with OLED screens and analogue triggers? • Would Linux firmware tempt you to switch from Android on your Pocket 6? • Duo owners: first impressions?
